Rules of Conduct
When adding content to raceagainstpain.com you, as a user, agree to follow the Rules of Conduct as outlined in this section. Non-compliance with the the Rules of Conduct may result in appropriate action as deemed appropriate by Boston Scientific.
(a) You acknowledge that information written on this site is not to be used for diagnosis and/or treatment of medical conditions. If you have a question about your health status, please contact your doctor.
(b) You agree to refrain from using hateful, discriminatory, aggressive, obscene, vulgar, or other non-respectful language and/or images on this site. Any posts deemed inappropriate are subject to immediate removal from the site without notice. Offenses may result in suspension/permanent removal of the user account.
(c) Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Anyone who harasses another user, in any way, may be immediately and permanently removed from the site. Use of someone's username or actual name for this purpose will not be tolerated.
(d) You agree that all the information that you write is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Anyone found to be intentionally lying will be permanently removed from the site.
(e) You acknowledge that all postings of links and/or internet addresses are subject to removal. This includes posts that are advertisements or solicitation for business, links that are not related to chronic pain, or other posts that are deemed inappropriate or off-label uses of SCS systems. Anyone who violates this rule is subject to permanent removal from the site.
(f) You agree to maintain no more than one profile on this site. Creation and use of multiple profiles for any reason will not be tolerated and may result in permanent removal from the site. If you forget your username and/or password please click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page and select 'Technical Support' from the drop down menu when sending a request.
(g) You agree to refrain from posting any personally-identifiable information that you do not want made public. Users acknowledge that any information posted on this site immediately becomes public information. Do not post your name, email address, or any other personally-identifiable information that you do not want made public.
(h) You agree to keep disputes private. If you disagree with something that another user has posted, do not dispute the matter over the site. Please do not create conflict on the public section of the forums. If you the matter cannot be resolved, please agree to disagree.
(i) You agree to refrain from posting illegal content. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted works, pirated materials, discussing illegal drug use, or other illegal activities.
(j) You agree to treat private messages with the same guidelines as site posts. Medical advice, inappropriate and/or disrespectful content, illegal material, advertising, spam, or other un-welcomed messages are not permitted.
(k) Boston Scientific reserves the right to organize discussion forums in order to best serve the majority of our users. When applicable, the moderators may move threads between categories, add/modify/remove categories, and reorganize the forums.
(l) Reporting of guideline violations. Please click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page to send a report of any violation of these Rules of Conduct.
